Step 7 - Define Where you want to listen for Customer Activity
Interactions are the key elements of the customer experience, representing the back-and-forth between the customer and your organization.
You need to define where on your website you want to listen for and track customer activity by creating an Interaction Point. For the purposes of this practice optimization, we will create an Interaction on the home page of your chosen website.
Use the MXO Extension to define the pages on your site where you want to track customer activity.
To create an Interaction
- Browse to the home page of your chosen website.
- Ensure the MXO Extension is in Edit mode.
- On the toolbar, click Create an Interaction Point.
- Provide a Name for your Interaction Point.For this practice optimization, enter Home Page.
- Click Save.
