Step 2 - Define your activity type

Activity types are the types of things that customers do, that your organization wants to track.

Examples of activity types include:

  • Booking an appointment
  • Requesting a brochure
  • Requesting a quote
  • Starting an application
  • Submitting an application
  • Viewing information

For this practice optimization, the activity that you want MXO to watch for is the page being viewed by your customer.

Define an activity type

  1. In MXO, go to Configure > Lifecycle Stages & Activity Types.

  2. Click + to create an uncategorized activity type.

  3. In the Create Activity Type dialog box, enter the name of the activity type that you want to create. For this practice optimization, enter Page View.

  4. Click Save.
