Release highlights

New summary bar on the Interaction Details page

We have added a new summary bar to the top of the Interaction Details page. Now you can see the number of surveys in each stage (Completed, In Progress, etc.) within the filtered timeframe at a glance, including the total number of surveys included in the report.

To learn more about this page, see Interaction Details report.

New Repeat Question option for IVR surveys

The new Repeat question setting for individual survey questions allows you to offer respondents the option to repeat a question in a voice survey up to three times.

Experience Cloud integration updates

Updated timing for batch management

Rather than checking for batch updates and sending batches to Experience Cloud once per hour, we will now perform both functions once every five minutes. This update will make batch checking and processing more efficient and prevent long delays after failures.

Security update

To enhance the security of the integration, URLs for audio files will no longer be sent to Experience Cloud. You will be able to play recordings directly on the Interaction Details page in the Feedback UI.

Accessibility enhancements

We have made the following updates to enhance the accessibility of surveys:

  • Appropriate HTML attributes now indicate when a question is required.

  • HTML tags now help users navigate tables used for the UI layout.

  • Question labels are now headers, allowing for easier navigation.

  • Star/emoji custom templates now use a more accessible color contrast.

Resolved issues

Medallia Experience Cloud integration issues

The following issues were resolved for the Mindful Feedback and Experience Cloud integration:

  • Batches were not sent to Experience Cloud when the request was missing the customer_id filter.

  • Interactions were sent to Experience Cloud when the Q-Fields were not present. Now, interactions will not be sent in this case.

  • For Number questions, the maximum value for the Max Response field is now 10. Previously, much larger numbers were allowed.

UI translation issues

The following missing translations for Spanish and Portuguese text on the Customer Settings page have been added:

  • Text in the IP Whitelists tab

  • Text in the Payments tab

  • The label on the Branding tab

The Configure Genesys Cloud page will now load more efficiently.

When a large number of survey mappings (100+) were configured for an organization, the Configure Genesys Cloud page loaded very slowly. We have made the loading more efficient in this edge case.

Users will now be redirected to the Surveys page after deleting a survey.

Previously, users saw a blank page with JSON code after deleting a survey. Now, they will see a success message and land back on the Surveys page.

An issue causing logos not to load in a specific scenario has been resolved.

When the default theme was selected in a custom template, the company logo failed to render properly.

Watch Words that include numbers can no longer be uploaded via CSV.

The CSV upload function for Watch Words was not checking for numeric values as it should have. With this release, users will see an error message and the affected Watch Word will not be added.

Feedback will now display a Success message when successfully uploading users in bulk.

Previously, there was no visual indication that an upload had succeeded.

The Survey Ended value in Interaction Details reports will show yes/no once again.

After a recent update, the values changed from yes/no to 1/0, which could cause issues for clients whose systems expected the original values. With this release, the original yes/no values have been restored.

An issue causing audio URLs to be editable in a specific scenario has been resolved.

Previously, when a survey included a Text/Record question and the Interaction Data Wrap-up Trigger was present, it was possible to edit the audio URL included on the Interaction Details page.

Future release

The following items are coming in a future release.

New multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirement for all new organizations

MFA will soon be required for all organizations. This requirement will help to ensure that only authorized users are able to access your organization's data.

To ensure maximum security of your data, no exceptions can be made to the MFA policy for any user or role. This policy will be enforced on all new organizations created after the official start of the policy, and existing clients will need to opt in within six months.

To opt in or ask questions about the policy, contact a Medallia representative.

Note: Users who access Feedback in the Genesys Cloud UI are not affected by this policy, since they do not authenticate directly into Feedback.

New customizable password policy

We will soon implement a new default password policy for all users. To view the new policy, see User password requirements after release.

Note: If the new password policy conflicts with your organization's internal policies, contact the Support team.
