Private 1:1s
At Medallia, we believe that co-coaching is vital to a support organization's success -- managers, mentors, and peers all play a part in meaningful coaching. We also recognize how important it is to let private conversations be just that, private.
Admins in Agent Connect can set their team's default 1:1s visibility and Coaches have the option in each 1:1 session to choose whether a session should use that default-level visibility or to make the session private when needed.
Admins can set Default 1:1s Privacy for all 1:1s, allowing teams to decide which level of visibility and collaboration works best for their unique needs.
To configure Default 1:1s Privacy:
Navigate to Settings by clicking the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen
Click on the 1:1s tile
You'll find a section & toggle for Default Privacy Settings and a brief description of each of the two possible levels of default privacy.
The default restricted visibility option is OFF by default. When this setting is off, default privacy is set to Open and Coaches will be able to access all sessions for all Team Members.
When enabled, default privacy will be Restricted. Coaches will only be able to access sessions they have conducted themselves, and sessions conducted by another Coach for any Team Member who directly reports to them in the Team Hierarchy.
Restricted visibility still allows for Coaches to collaborate with one another, but ensures that Team Leaders are not able to view every Team Member 1:1, whether or not they conducted the session.
This default privacy setting for 1:1s is company-wide, so Admins should communicate any changes they plan to make regarding 1:1s visibility with their team.
Additionally, Coaches will have the option to make a 1:1 session Private on an individual basis within the 1:1 session itself.
Private 1:1s Sessions
On each 1:1s Session, Coaches will have the option to make the session Private. When Private Session is enabled, only the Coach conducting the session, the team member being coached, and Agent Connect Admins will be able to view the session.
