Delayed welcome emails

When onboarding a new CX tool, communication and timing across large distributed organizations is key. Many clients prefer to get the platform fully set up and ready to go before inviting their users. You can use delayed welcome emails to take the time you need to get the account up and running before you let your teammate into the tool.

Create users in bulk

This function lives within the Bulk Create feature. On the Manage Team page, click on the Add Users button and select Bulk Create Users from the dropdown menu.

Once you've selected "Bulk Create Users," you'll see the steps needed to do so (to learn more, see Create profiles in bulk. This will include the option if you'd like to "Delay welcome emails." Check this box. This will automatically queue up all of your Welcome emails for the team members you just added in bulk.

Please note that welcome emails are sent in one batch across all users who have been created with the welcome emails delayed. If you want to invite your users in batches, you'll want to create the users in batches and then deliver the welcome email to the newly created users as needed.

Send delayed welcome emails

Now that you've queued up your welcome emails and you've set up your account, you're ready to send your Welcome emails to your new team members.

Head to Manage Team > Bulk Actions > Send Delayed Welcome Emails
