Permissions

Access to data and Agent Connect features is determined by a user's role. Consider your organization's structure when you create your team hierarchy in Agent Connect, and any time you need to add a new user. Think about the user's responsibilities, and the information that user needs, and assign a role accordingly. Some roles can see or modify data only for themselves or their Team Members. Some roles have permission to see data for all users. Some permissions are configurable for the role.

Profile-level permissions

Most permissions are granted according to users' roles. However, you can grant the following permissions to individual users by editing the Additional Permissions area of individual profiles. For more information about editing profiles, see Profiles.

Additional profile-level permissionDescription
Administer passwordsAllows access the Reset Passwords screen, where the user can reset passwords for any user, just as can be done by an Admin.

Team Leaders automatically have permission to do this for their Team Members as part of their role-based permissions.

Approve pending profilesAllows access the Pending Profiles screen, where the user can approve profiles for any user, just as can be done by an Admin.

Team Leaders automatically have permission to do this for their Team Members as part of their role-based permissions.

Can exportAllows the user to export survey data. Team Members can export their own data, while Team Leaders and Admins can export all data.
Manage 1:1sAllows the user to create, edit, and share 1:1s for any user.
Participate in 1:1sAllows the user to participate in their 1:1s by adding notes and completing action items.
