Medallia Digital Web 2.25.0 Hybrid hosting release notes

Released starting 12 July 2019

Note: This release is for Hybrid hosting environments only.

Release Highlights

  • Added the ability to sort the Forms list view by:

    • Type

    • Name

    • Modified (Default)

    • Form ID

    • Publish status

  • Single Page Applications support now recalculate forms of type "Button" when refreshing the page.

  • Added List View as a new view mode for forms. Access this new mode with list view icon under "Forms". In addition it is now possible to filter the form list either by form name or form ID. The filtered content is highlighted accordingly.

  • Form folders usability improvements:

    • It is now possible to move a single form without selecting the check box first.

    • You can click anywhere on the row to move a form (or multiple forms) to a different folder.

  • Form folders have been improved to better organize the forms in the CX program, including:

    • Create new folders.

    • Add or move forms to folders.

    • Rename folders

    • Delete folders.

  • Form duplication is available for Digital on Experience Cloud accounts. Note: When duplicating a form:

    • Fields in the form that were linked to already existing fields (reused) — those will be carried forward into the copy, with the linking. For example, when an NPS field on the form — that was linked to a best-practice package LTR question — is duplicated, the new form is be linked to the same LTR question.

    • Fields in the form that were created in Medallia Experience Cloud — they were not linked to existing fields — are each created in Medallia Experience Cloud for the duplicated form.

    • Custom params have not changed behavior — they are defined at a property level, and so as long as they were assigned to "all forms", they are carried into the copy

  • The login & password recovery screens for Digital Stand-alone customers has been updated to reflect Medallia branding.

  • The left side menu has been updated with new icons and color scheme.

  • Medallia Digital is now integrated with Full Story session recording. A link to the recorded session in Full Story is added to the collected feedback.

  • Medallia Digital is now integrated with UserReplay session recording. A link to the recorded session in UserReplay is added to the collected feedback.

  • Medallia Digital is now integrated with Quantum Metric session recording. A link to the recorded session in Quantum Metric is added to the collected feedback.

  • ("Invite" type surveys only) Disable Intercept rule allows the CX manager to define a custom parameter based rule that disables the survey display process even though the behavioral trigger has fired. This is ideal in case some parameter on the customer's side has changed since the time when the survey was processed and but do not want the survey to fire. Example use cases:

    • A customer logged into the service, but the customer is in a segment that should not be surveyed.

    • Survey only customers that didn't add X items into their shopping cart.

  • The "Form Display" tab has been improved to easily reflect the meaning of each of the form display options.

  • For Digital on Experience Cloud companies using SSO, clicking screen capture links is now accessible through Medallia Experience Cloud on the "Feedback Details" page.

  • The left-side menu has been improved to a new and modern user interface. There is no change to functionality.
