Highlights
-
The following features have been enabled for all customers:
- 1 to 7 scale questions are now available in the Digital Survey Builder for all customers in all offering types (applies to Digital Web, In-App and Anywhere).
- You can now define Disable Intercept Rules to enhance survey quarantine logic by defining a set of custom rules that prevent a survey invite.
- Added support for feature walkthroughs inside the Digital Command Center. These walkthroughs appear on select new features and provide instruction and guidance on those features, how-tos and examples.
- Digital Web upgraded the Medallia CX Journeys event reporting to the latest version. This includes bug fixes as well as setting the CX Journeys cookie as "Samesite" and "Secure".
- You can now define the targeting logic for our embedded surveys in the Digital Survey Builder, providing better control of the survey's visibility and quarantine options.
-
Version 1.1.0 of Medallia's Adobe Launch Extension is available and includes:
- Storage of Digital's events can use Event Data Isolation to ensure that form events data are not overwritten by other extensions that might be running in parallel. This feature is not enabled by default, but is recommended, however it might require a change to your custom code. Enable Event Data Isolation using the setting in the extension configuration screen.
- A new event: Button Displayed. This event, combined with the form ID payload, allows you to create additional conversion funnels in Adobe Analytics.
For more information, see Medallia for Adobe Launch version 1.1.0.
-
Conditional Display now supports the ability to condition based on custom parameters. You hide or show the survey fields based on the custom parameters factor.
This feature is available upon request. Ask your Medallia expert to file a Feature activation request with Medallia Support. -
CX journey reports now include the formTriggerType that shows how the survey was triggered, such as code, invitation, button, or embedded.
-
The rich text editor embedded in the Digital Command Center has been updated to the latest version.
-
The JavaScript libraries used by the Digital Command Center have been updated to the latest versions.
Resolved issues
-
Rules and custom parameters now use the following character validations:
- query and cookie parameters only accept characters a-z (or A-Z), numbers, "-", "_", and "$"
- variables only accept characters a-z (or A-Z) , numbers, "$","_" or "." Additionally they must begin with a letter, an underscore (_), or a dollar sign ($).
-
It was not possible to duplicate surveys which contained both reusable fields and components of type "Text (ABC)" or "Line".
-
If a survey was using self-service reusable fields, changing the share level of a question from "Property" to "Account" made it impossible to edit or save the survey.
-
On Digital Hybrid Hosting properties, after a version deployment the "Modified date" was being incorrectly updated for some surveys.
-
On certain Android devices, a dropdown option that contained more than 30 characters did not appear.
-
When the capability to hide options in reusable fields was enabled, it was not possible to duplicate surveys.
-
On GovCloud properties, in the event of specific database failures, location based data was missing.
