Use case - Create a data export to share customer data

Creating a data export let's you share customer data for an audience for further analysis. It comprises a three-stage process:

  1. Configure a destination for your data export.

  2. Create and process your engagement query.

  3. Share the resulting data export.

Step 1 - Configure a destination for your data export

  1. In MXO, go to Analyze > Audience Destinations.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Enter a unique name for your new destination.

  4. Select your destination type.Audience destination type

  6. Provide the required connection details for your storage location.Audience destination storage location

  7. Click Save.

Step 2 - Create and process your data export query

  1. In MXO, go to Analyze > Dynamic Audiences.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Enter a unique name for your query. The query name forms the first part of the filename for the export.Data export query name

  4. Select export all customer data for date as your query type from the dropdown.Data export query type

  5. Select the relevant time period for this export from the date filters dropdown.Data export time period

  6. Click Save and then click Process.

Step 3 - Share your data export

  1. In MXO, go to Analyze > Dynamic Audiences.

  2. Click Share or Download for your date export.TB - DE Use Case 8

  3. In the Configure Destinations panel, locate the destination with which you want to share your data export and click Share Audience.Data export share option

    schedule

    the sharing of a data export on a regular basis or download the data export locally.
