Interaction points

Interactions are the key elements of the customer experience, representing the ongoing conversation between your customer and your organization at any of your touchpoints.

Interaction points let you:

  • capture customer activity,
  • capture customer input, and
  • return optimized content to your customer during those interactions.

The Interaction Points page provides you with a list of all interaction points configured for a particular touchpoint. You can switch between touchpoints, using the drop-down menu, on the top-left of the screen.

The Interaction Points page also provides you with the following details about each interaction point:

  • Name and path for the interaction point
  • Number of configured capture and optimization points
  • Whether or not customers on that interaction must be verified
  • Interaction point status — is the interaction point published or unpublished, or has it been modified?
  • Date when the interaction point was last modified
  • Name of the last person to modify the interaction point

From this page, you can also create new interaction points and perform actions on a specific interaction point such as editing or deleting it, or viewing its dependencies.
