Use the Journey Visualization Controls

The Journey Visualization controls let you fine tune the data displayed in the Journey View, enabling you to focus on the customer data and behaviors that are most important to you.

Filters persist as you switch between the different Journey views, allowing you to move between, for example, the Touchpoint and Channel views without losing your current focus.

Flow and Volume Controls

Use the Flow and Volume controls to show or hide data relating to:

  • Flows. The number of customers entering, leaving, or moving between nodes on the journey.
  • Volumes. The volume of customers on a node.

In the default view, all flows and volumes are displayed.

Flows

Use the Flow button to control which flows are displayed in the Journey visuals. You can choose to display all flows or to turn individual flows on and off, depending on your preferences. For example, you may want to view only those flows relating to customers regressing on or leaving the journey.

By default, flows for all customers entering, leaving, or moving between lifecycle stages on the journey are shown.

Filter Individual Flows

As well as showing or hiding all flows, you can also filter on individual flows to focus on certain data.

By default, flows for all customers entering, leaving, or moving between lifecycle stages on the journey are shown.

Use the Flows dropdown menu, located in the top right of the Journey Analytics views, to turn individual flows on and off.

Filter Flows by Traffic Volume

Use the slider to filter out flows based on the volume of customer traffic. For example, you may want to filter out flows with smaller volumes of customer traffic to focus on the most common path through the customer journey. Alternatively, you may want to filter flows to show you where bottlenecks occur or how customers get to the stage where they drop off the journey completely.

To access the slider, open the flow traffic drop-down.{{< image text="TB - JV flow traffic open" src="Dynamic Audiences/TB - JV flow traffic open.png" >}} Adjust the flows displayed on screen by moving the slider handles.{{< image text="TB - JV flow traffic slider" src="Dynamic Audiences/TB - JV flow traffic slider.png" >}}
