What is the MXO Extension?

The MXO Extension lets you choose the places on a web-based Touchpoint where you want to track customer activity, capture customer data and personalize your customers' experience. You can also use the MXO Extension to check that your engagement configurations are working as expected and see how they will function when published to your live website.

You only need to install the MXO Extension once: it remains installed as part of your browser (until you remove it) and is available to all your Spaces.

The MXO Extension receives updates automatically as necessary.

When installed, the extension appears on your browser's toolbar as follows:

To set up and preview your engagement configurations, activate the extension on your chosen web site.

Note: You must be logged in to MXO to use the MXO Extension.

Activating the extension lets you:

  • Preview your engagement configurations.
  • Configure new engagement configurations.
  • Select the areas on a web page where you want to track customer activity, capture customer data, and optimize the customer experience.
