MXO Data Adapters FAQs
What should an organization consider when using Data Adapters?
An organization should consider the following when using Data Adapters:
- We provide a number of the out-of-the-box Data Adapters. Will these out-of-the-box Data Adapters allow you to access the data sources required to fulfil your business objectives?
- Do you have existing, externally accessible, web services that will provide the type of information required?
- How are they secured? For example, does your organization use OAuth, Basic-Auth, or another security mechanism?
- Which data formats do your existing web services return ? For example, JSON or XML?
- Can customer data be retrieved using a unique customer identifier?
- If you do not already have have existing, externally accessible, web services that will provide the type of information required, can you provide them?
