Making a clip
Role required: Customer Admin, Channel Admin or Pro. See LivingLens user roles.
A clip is a user-selected segment of a media file. Make clips from full length video and audio files, and add images, to create a showreel. For additional information, see Showreels.
Making a clip has no impact on the original media file. Determine which clips are in a showreel at the time of clip creation. Clips cannot be moved from one showreel to another.
Creating a clip from video or audio
Start from a Media View page.
Highlight the transcript text that represents the clip.
The clip's start and end points appear as white triangles on the video player.
Hover over the media player to extend the right side menu and click
Create new clip.
From the Create Clip modal, add the clip to a showreel:
Add to an existing showreel by selecting the reel from the Select Existing Showreel menu, or
Create a new showreel. Click Create New Showreel and type a showreel name in the New Showreel Name field.
Click Create Clip.
