Mindful Feedback July 2025 release notes

Released July 10, 2025

Release highlights

Voicemail detection is now available for outbound voice surveys.

Our new voicemail detection feature provides greater control over call outcomes through better handling of voicemail responses and retry logic.

When voicemail detection is enabled for a survey, you can specify how many times Mindful Feedback will retry the call and how long to wait before each attempt. You can also upload a custom audio file to be played when voicemail is detected, allowing for greater control over messaging in this scenario.

Voicemail detection and retry behavior are fully configurable at the survey level, with robust reporting and logging to maintain transparency and consistency. It is designed to improve the overall quality and accuracy of feedback by avoiding voicemail completions and intelligently retrying outreach.

Announcements

We are rebuilding the Feedback user interface using the React framework. This back-end refresh will enhance efficiency and load times throughout the platform while maintaining the functionality you rely on.

Fixed issues

We have resolved several issues discovered in Phase 1 of the Mindful Feedback integration with MEC:

  • (MFF-1718) The e_signal_channel field will no longer be sent to MEC for web surveys.

The field was not correctly mapped from Mindful Feedback to MEC for web surveys. To mitigate this issue, we are no longer sending the e_signal_channel field for web surveys.

  • (MFF-1716) Feedback will now use the appropriate sequence number of the alt-set associated with multi-choice questions.

  • (MFF-1612) The integration will no longer create alt-sets for Prompt Only questions, since these questions are not intended to receive any responses from customers.
