What is a Completion Activity?

A completion activity is the furthest activity that can be tracked for a Proposition. A completion can be seen as a positive successful result for a Proposition.

For example:

  • Submitting an application for life insurance
  • Requesting an appointment to discuss mortgages
  • Completing the purchase of a mobile phone

You specify whether or not an activity is a completion activity when creating Activity Capture Points to track customer activity.

Completion Activities and Activity Counts

After a customer fulfils the completion activity for a Proposition, activity counts for that Proposition are reset to 0 (zero). This can impact the Arbitration process, as Actions you expect to be included in that process may be filtered out. For example, if you are prioritizing Actions based on interest, a customer may no longer meet the eligibility requirements if their activity count for a Proposition has been reset to 0 (zero).
