Data Streams

Data streams enable configurable scheduled exports of DXA experience data from to supported destinations, such as Amazon S3 and Google Cloud Storage, for ingestion into business intelligence (BI), customer data platform (CDP), and data lake tools. Data streams are intended for advanced use cases, such as machine learning, data modeling, and building new tools or systems with DXA experience data.

DXA integrates with the following data stream types:

Data sets

Data streams deliver session and pageview data sets containing up to 50 fields of experience data, including conversion, DXS, technical, metadata, acquisition, and location. This data is automatically delivered to DXA users every night.

Each dataset is delivered as 24 individual files for each hour of the day. For hours where no traffic occurred and data could not be gathered, files are empty.
