Annotations
Annotations allow you to highlight significant dates and provide insights into events detected by DXA that include a timeline, such as those displayed in Discover Pages (New) and Discover Segments (New). The date is highlighted as a vertical dotted red line, as in the example below from Discover Segments. Hover over the dotted red line to see the annotation.
Creating annotations
On the navigation bar, go to
settings > Property Settings > Annotations and click + Add Annotation.
Enter a Date for when the significant event occurred.
Enter a Description to use as an annotation appearing on graphs.
(Optional) To make the annotation available to other users of the DXA account, select Share annotation.
Click Save Annotation.
