Disable and enable an attribute for a data adapter

From time to time, you may want to disable individual attributes for a data adapter, to hide any attributes you don't require. You can do this using the data adapters page in MXO.

To disable an attribute

  1. In MXO, got to Collect > External Data.
  2. Click the data adapter you want to open for editing.
  3. Expand the Attributes list.
  4. Locate the attribute you want to disable.
  5. Clear the status checkbox. The status changes to Off.

  6. Click Save.

To enable an attribute

  1. In MXO, go to Collect > External Data.
  2. Click the data adapter you want to open for editing.
  3. Expand the Attributes list.
  4. Locate the attribute you want to enable.
  5. Select the status checkbox. The status changes to On.
  6. Click Save.
