MXO Release Notes | April 2026
Released starting April 2026
Release Highlights
Journey types and subtypes
Categorize dynamic audiences and activation use cases by tagging them with out-of-the-box journey types and custom subtypes tailored to your business. By organizing journeys into predefined categories — such as acquisition, onboarding, and retention — you gain deeper context and enhanced journey insights that directly reflect the customer's business use cases. To learn more, see Journey types.
Multifactor authentication for web logins
To strengthen account security and protect sensitive customer data, multifactor authentication (MFA) is now required for all MXO users when logging into the platform via web. Upon login, a one-time verification code is automatically sent to the user's registered email address, which must be entered to complete the authentication process. Users should verify with their tenant admin that the correct email is configured in the Admin Settings' Users page. To learn more, see Log into MXO.
Push actions arbitration
You can now apply the same arbitration to offline actions as you do for online actions. This allows you to personalize the customer experience by determining the next best action for offline channels. To learn more, see Create an offline optimization point.
