Journey types

Journey types let you organize your journey analytics and audience activation use cases by tagging your dynamic audiences with out-of-the-box journey types and custom subtypes tailored to your business.

By categorizing journeys with custom subtypes or predefined types like acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, service, loyalty, and reacquisition, MXO enhances journey insights and provides deeper context that reflects the customer's business use cases.

The Journey Types page provides you with a list of all available journey types. You can view the following details for each journey type:

  • Journey type name

  • Number of journey subtypes associated with that journey type

  • Journey type description

From this page, you can also view the journey subtypes associated with a journey type, create new journey subtypes, and perform actions on a specific journey subtype such as editing or deleting.
