Apply or remove status labels

Apply status labels to ideas using the Idea status option on the Moderator tools menu. Moderators and administrators see this menu when viewing an idea, and when one or more ideas are selected on the challenge page.

Change the labels assigned to ideas from the Idea status selector.

Two status labels applied to a single idea

Administrators see the Edit status labels option, which they can use to change the color and text of the labels.

  1. Select the idea or ideas to modify.
    • One idea only — Open and view the idea.
    • Multiple ideas — On the challenge page, select one or more ideas.

  2. Click Idea status on the Moderator tools menu.

  3. Select the labels to apply to the idea. When multiple ideas are selected, first choose to either Add or Remove the selected labels from the ideas.
    • One idea only — Select or unselect the labels to apply to the the idea.

    • Multiple ideas — Choose to Add or Remove status labels, then select the labels (to add or remove)

  4. Click Save.
The idea status labels are applied and/or removed from the ideas.
