Idea status labels
Idea status labels characterize or categorize ideas using colorful, descriptive text that is meaningful to the community.
Initially all new ideas have no labels. Moderators and administrators can assign one or more labels to an idea as applicable for the community. Once ideas have labels, users can filter the ideas in a challenge by the status.
Medallia Ideas defines some initial, default labels. Administrators may change, add, or remove any labels as necessary.
As part of Gamification, labels may have scores that award points to the user who suggested the idea. For example, an idea that gets adopted can award points to the user.
System labels
Some labels are system-defined, they cannot be changed, and they are assigned automatically. For example, when a moderator closes an idea, the system assigns Closed. Similarly, when idea is due to advance to the next phase of a funnel challenge, it is assigned In next phase.
