Troubleshooting Community registration
Common registration issues and their solutions.
Your email needs to be validated
You see the following message once you've registered:
Locate the email from Medallia Ideas in your email system. Check your Junk/Spam folder if you don't see it in your main inbox. Click the validation link in the email.
You don't have authorization to access a community
You're trying to access a community that you have not yet been invited to.
Invitation or validation email not received
If you haven't received an email from the community, we recommend checking your junk/spam folder just in case it's landed there.
The screen name you have selected already exists
Your screen name must be unique among all users. You have picked one already in use by another user.
Try using a different display name or adding numbers on the end eg. John_smith123.
