From version 4.8, Digital provides the option to skip the invite step and show the targeted survey directly. This is ideal for situations where immediate feedback is needed without any additional interruptions. For example high-priority feedback scenarios or to create specific seamless user experiences. Use the Skip Invite option to present a survey without the usual invite to provide feedback being shown in the app.

Previous solutions to skip the invite part of the targeting process often relied on custom code. This new self-service option removes the need for such custom solutions. Instead you select the option in the Digital Command Center. There are no other settings to be configured in this targeting step because the invite is skipped.

Prerequisites

The new targeting modal must be enabled.

Skip invite is only available for surveys set for foreground mode

When a survey is configured to use the Skip invite option, these changes are made to the usual targeting process.

• The targeted survey appears directly without any invitation prompt.
• No integration with invitation APIs is required, the survey triggers automatically.

Note that:

• Both Decline and Submit quarantine still exist for surveys using the skip invite feature.
• In reporting, no invite events are generated for surveys using the skip invite feature.
