Medallia Digital Mobile SDK 4.1.2 (iOS)

Release highlights

    Customers can now migrate to the new Medallia Digital survey form 2.0 using self-service. Survey form 2.0 is a complete technical and visual overhaul of the Digital Feedback experience.

    Using the latest technologies and frameworks, the new survey form has been written from the ground up, resulting in a much smaller network footprint, optimized for speed and performance. Additionally the new survey form is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.

    Administrators can now refresh a group of survey forms in a single bulk operation. This makes it easier to ensure a property's survey forms are using the latest version of Medallia Digital without needing to manually resave each form in the Digital Command Center.

    This is especially useful for example when a new feature is enabled for the property, which can require saving all forms to ensure they are updated with the feature, or when a change is made in the Experience Cloud configuration which requires forms to be resaved.

  • The voice-over announcement for feedback submission can now be turned off by demand.

  • The SDK's initialization process has been optimized and now initialization errors are stored, for better visibility and performance tracking.

  • In Digital Command Center, the new design of the native alert page is now available for all Digital properties.

  • In Digital Command Center, the new design of the form settings page is now available for all Digital properties.

Resolved issues

iOS

  • When there was a incorrect analytics configuration feedback records were not being accepted.

  • Fixed a delay in the targeting evaluation flow.

  • The Cordova plugin has been upgraded to the cordova-node-xcode library 3.0.1 to avoid a vulnerability found in an early version of this library.

  • Fixed an issue in the translation feature that blocked CSS modifications based on the language attribute. This fix also improved the ability to hear the correct accent for voice-over users.

  • Fixed client correlation ID duplications.

iOS Preview App

  • The Preview app is now available for users with the zero rating feature enabled.
