MRCP (Media Resource Control Protocol) is an industry-standard set of data and communication protocols. MRCP is commonly used for intelligent virtual agents (IVA), interactive voice response (IVR), and voice browsers to connect with speech tools such as Voci's ASR engine.

UniMRCP is an open-source, cross-platform implementation of an MRCP client and server. The Voci plugin provided by UniSpeech enables access to the full feature set of Voci's speech-to-text APIs to MRCP-based IVA and IVR platforms. The Voci plugin for UniMRCP is licensed through UniSpeech.
