Properties

Properties are the distinct websites and native apps where DXA is deployed.

Web properties are always defined at the domain level, such as example.com. A web property may also include the following:

  • Subdomains (abc.example.com)

  • Directory pages (example.com/page)

  • Portals (portal.example.com/login)

A dedicated native property is required for each app you want to deploy DXA on.
Tip: DXA recommends using the same property for Android and iOS versions of the same app.
Note: You can only connect one type of data connector per property. If you have different Google Analytics profiles for different domains under the property, you can only configure the data connection for one of the domains.

Adding a property to your account

  1. On the navigation bar, go to Settings button settings > Account Settings > Properties and click + Add Property.
Note: If + Add Property isn't available, you may have reached the maximum number of properties available in your subscription. To increase the property allowance for your subscription, contact your Customer Success Manager.
