Archive

The archive allows you to retain files exported in DXA for a specific duration. Files you can export include sessions, heatmap screenshots, and account audits.

Viewing archived files

On the navigation bar, go to User button > Archive.Archive screen

The following Actions are available:

DownloadClick to download the archived file
EditClick to edit the archived file. The following options are available:
  • Name — Enter a new filename.

  • Retention — Select the period of time to keep the file archived.

To save, click Save Archive.

DeleteClick to remove the file from the archive

Viewing the archive by date

  1. On the top-left of the screen, click the date range dropdown menu. By default, this is set to Last 7 full days (excluding today).Date range dropdown menu

  2. Select a date range:

    • To select a predefined date range, such as Last 7 days and Last month, click the Date range dropdown menu.

    • To use a custom date range, enter a From date and a To date.

  3. Click Apply changes.

The date range is applied. Only files created within the date range are displayed in the archive.

Filtering the archive

  1. Click Filters.Filters dropdown menu

  2. (Optional) To display a specific file type, such as Heatmap screenshot or Session export, click the Archive type dropdown menu.

  3. (Optional) To only display files you archived, select Show my archives only.

  4. (Optional) To only display files archived from the property you are using, select Show current property only.

  5. Click Apply changes.

The filter is applied.

Statistics

To view your current archive memory usage and session replay favorites compared to your DXA account subscription allowance, click Statistics.Archive settings
