Session summarization

Session summaries provide details of key events in individual sessions. These events include key pages, experience issues exhibited, tracked events triggered, and whether or not the user converted on a website or mobile application.

Accessing session summaries

View a session summary in two ways:

In a Session List, select an individual session. The right pane includes the session summary.

Session summary via Session List.

In a Session Replay, click View Summary.

Session summary details

A session summary includes the following sections:

  • Summary — Includes the average DXS during the course of the session, the DXS pillar that was most impacted, the page that was the most impacted pillar, the page on which the user exited, the tracked events with which the user engaged, if the user submitted Medallia for Digital feedback, and on what page the user engaged with the survey.

  • Key Experience issues — Includes the top experience issues that occurred during the session, sorted by impact; the page on which these issues appeared; and the impact of overall DXS as a result of the issue.

  • Additional Details — Includes a list of other key behaviors exhibited during the course of the session.
