Form settings
Use Form Settings to control and customize survey-wide settings and apply branding components. Access Form Settings by clicking Form Settings in the top bar in the survey editor.
Basic Settings
Use the Basic Settings tab to specify form name and view, customize the submit button, and header.
Form Name Name of the survey. This name must be unique for each survey. The Form ID to the right of this field is for internal reference only.
Form View Choose between Partial Screen and Full Screen display.
Submit Label Customize the text used for the submit button's label.
Text Color Customize the color of the text used for the submit button's label.
Button Color Customize the color of the background used for the submit button.
Survey Title Customize the text used for the survey's header.
Text Color Customize the color of the text used for the survey's header.
Background Color Customize the color of the background used for the survey's header.
Dark Mode Text Color Customize the color of the background used for the survey's header.
Dark Mode Background Color Customize the color of the background used for the survey's header.
Form Design tab
Use the Form Design tab to control the design settings for the survey.
Background Color Click the field to select a color from the color picker or enter a hexadecimal color value.
Custom CSS Enter a URL of a CSS file to include with the survey to override default design settings. Classes in this file can then be used on a page level or field level to customize the appearance of the survey.
Background Image Click Upload to browse to an image to be used in the background of a survey.
On properties with the Resources Library enabled, the Basic Settings tab is different. Instead of showing a field to enter a URL or button to upload as described above it includes a dropdown to select from the already uploaded resources.
To specify an image, use the resources library to upload the file. Then in the Basic Settings tab, choose the image from the dropdown. This enables you to easily share the image across multiple surveys.
Thank You Prompt tab
Upload an image to be displayed.
Customize the text using a rich text editor.
Customize the background color of the page.
Customize the button color and the text color on the button.
View a preview that displays what the Thank You Prompt looks like in a survey.
Show Thank You Prompt Select to show a thank you prompt after a survey is submitted.
Duration Choose between displaying the survey for a number of second, or making it display until there is some reaction.
Title Customize the text shown at the top of the prompt.
Body Customize the text shown the central part of the prompt.
Font Choose the font to use for the text on the prompt. The list of fonts available depends on the type of property being used.
Text Color Click the field to select a color from the color picker or enter a hexadecimal color value to be used for the text on the prompt.
Background Click the field to select a color from the color picker or enter a hexadecimal color value to be used as the background color of the prompt.
Image Upload a custom image to use for the prompt. Set the Image check box to on and click Upload to chose an image file. Only images up to 2 megabytes and in either JPG, PNG or GIF format are supported.
Button Display Optionally show a button to close the prompt. When activated the following options are available.
Text Customize the text shown in the button.
Text Color Click the field to select a color from the color picker or enter a hexadecimal color value to be used for the text on the prompt.
Button Color Click the field to select a color from the color picker or enter a hexadecimal color value to be used for background of the submit button.
Image Alt Text Alternative text used for the image used by the prompt.
X Button Alt Text Alternative text used for the X button.
Advanced Settings tab
On the Advanced Settings tab, click the plus icon to the right of the Override Form Validation Error Message heading to override text in errors that customers see.
Click the plus icon to the right of the Custom Parameters heading to enable or disable custom parameters in survey displays.
