Refresh forms

Administrators can refresh a group of survey forms in a single bulk operation. This makes it easier to ensure a property's survey forms are using the latest version of Medallia Digital without needing to manually resave each form in the Digital Command Center. This is especially useful for example when a new feature is enabled for the property, which can require saving all forms to ensure they are updated with the feature, or when a change is made in the Experience Cloud configuration which requires forms to be resaved.

Important: This feature is available upon request. Ask your Medallia expert to file a Feature activation request with Medallia Support.

To refresh surveys on a property:

  1. In either the card or list view, select one or more surveys. At the top right of the window, click the Refresh Forms(X selected) button, where X represents the number of selected forms.Three surveys selected for refresh.For example in the screenshot there are three forms selected for refresh.

  2. To refresh the forms, click Refresh. Depending on the number of forms in the property, the upgrade operation could take some time. To not proceed with the refresh, click Cancel.

  3. If the upgrade of the selected forms was successful a confirmation message is shown. In the event of any problem during the refresh operation, a CSV file is downloaded that contains rows describing the forms which failed to be refreshed.

Note that:

  • It is only possible to refresh a single folder on a property at a time.
  • In the event that another user tries to execute a refresh while a refresh is already ongoing then an error message appears.
