Dynamic Hybrid Hosting

With Dynamic Hybrid Hosting, changes to your experience program are reflected automatically on your website without your IT team needing to deploy a Medallia package. Once Dynamic Hybrid Hosting is enabled, the following changes are made automatically to your Digital program:

Survey configuration:

  • Management — Publishing, unpublishing and deleting surveys.

  • Targeting logic — Defining and modifying survey types and targeting rules.

  • Content — Creating, modifying, and removing questions.

Automation:

  • Custom Parameters — Creating, modifying, and deleting.

  • Rules — Creating, modifying, and deleting.

  • User Behavioral Targeting

Note: All changes that you make in the Automation section are applied immediately.

If you are using customer-side hybrid or dynamic hybrid hosting of Digital you must:

  • Always deploy the latest Medallia-provided package
  • Update the package at least every ninety (90) days to remain current with Medallia-supported functionality. During this 90 day period, Medallia could deploy multiple releases.
Important:

Failure to promptly inform Medallia of the hybrid or dynamic hybrid hosting requirement, or failure to update the package in a timely manner can directly result in loss of functionality, poor survey performance, and so on. Medallia cannot guarantee backward compatibility of the package beyond 90 days of the release of Digital software.
