Import report (Excel file)
The import operations generate an MS Excel file that reports details about the records processed, and indicates their success or failure, and why. The importer reports on up to 5,000 records per import processor and discard status.
Each report has at least two tabs:
- Input values contains the records in the import batch (up to 5,000) that were discarded or had an issue at least once in one of the processors. Many of the records listed here are also included with more detail in the other tab(s). In general you can ignore this tab.
- One tab for each Auto Importer processor, with detailed information about each record (up to 5,000 records per status).
In the worksheets, each record is listed with color-coded cells to identify areas of interest. Additionally:
- The first three columns identify
- (A) the record's row in the feed-file
- (B) the processing result, and
- (C) any issues that need explanation.
- The fourth (D) and subsequent columns are the key fields, and they are color-coded as follows:
- Yellow (heading row only) — key fields
- Green — new information
- Blue — changed or transformed information
- Tan — problems
(no color) — no problem
