Step 3 — Complete the integration in MXO

Once MXO permissions are configured in MEC, follow these steps to complete the integration between both products:
Important: Ensure that the user accessing MXO to complete the SSO connection has sufficient permissions to create or import a space. Without these permissions, they will be unable to complete the integration.
  1. In Medallia Setup, go to Integrations > OAuth.
  2. In the Clients screen, search for medallia_experience_orchestration.
  3. Copy the Client Secret. If no secret has yet been set, click Generate new client secret.
  4. In MXO, go to Admin Settings (settings icon) > Integrations.
  5. Paste the Client Secret previously copied from the OAuth client configuration screen. All other required fields will be automatically generated during tenant setup.
  6. Click Apply to save your changes.
After configuring SSO both in MEC and MXO, and giving the Orchestration Access permissions to a user in MEC, MXO will appear in MEC Application Switcher for the user to access. The first user to access MXO from the Application Switcher has the option to create or import a space. Once created, all other users will be redirected to that space when accessing MXO from the Application Switcher.
