Create and manage journey maps

Learn how to create and manage your journey maps in MXO.

Create a journey map

To create a journey map, follow these steps:

  1. In MXO, go to Analyze > Journey Maps.

  2. Click + Create.

  3. Enter a unique name for your journey map.

  4. Enter a short description for your journey map.

  5. Choose an existing template for your journey map or start with a blank map.

  6. Click Create to finish the creation process and start working on your map in the journey maps editor.

Edit a journey map

To edit a journey map, follow these steps:

  1. In MXO, go to Analyze > Journey Maps.

  2. Find the desired journey map in the list and click edit icon Edit to open the journey maps editor.

  3. Modify the journey map as desired. Changes are automatically saved.

Delete a journey map

To delete a journey map, follow these steps:

  1. In MXO, go to Analyze > Journey Maps.

  2. Find the desired journey map in the list and click delete icon Delete.

  3. If the journey map is associated with one or more personas, the modal window that appears will show the dependencies list and block the deletion process. Access each dependency and remove the association before deleting the journey map. Then, click Refresh to reload the dependencies list and ensure you have removed them all.

  4. Click Delete to complete the deletion process.
