What is a Timeframe?

Timeframes are used in MXO 's Journey Visualizations to determine when customers become inactive and time out of the journey lifecycle. The timeframe indicates the amount of time customers can stay within a stage before they are considered to have "timed out" of the lifecycle. A customer is deemed to have left the lifecycle at a particular stage if the following two conditions are met:

  • The last activity recorded for that customer was associated with that stage.
  • The time since the customers last activity exceeds the leaving timeframe for that stage.

For more information about configuring the timeframe for a Lifecycle Stage, see Create and Manage Lifecycle Stages and Activity Types.
