Edit an idea as a Moderator

Modifying another user's already published Idea.

Moderators may edit any of the ideas already posted by any other users. As a general rule, only edit other users' ideas when necessary (such as when it contains an inappropriate or offensive comment), or if the user asks you to (such as when they are having problems attaching an image).
Note: When users view their ideas, they see the Author Tools toolbar, similar to Moderator Tools. The key difference is that it only has one option: Edit, while the Moderator toolbar has several options.
  1. Locate to the Idea to edit.
  2. Click Edit on the the Moderator Tools toolbar above the Idea title.

    The idea submission form opens. For details, see Post an idea.
  3. Edit the Idea.
    You can change the title, description, tags and tagged users.
  4. Click Publish.
    The Idea submission form closes.
A date stamped note appears below the idea description text to indicate that it has been changed by a moderator.
