Reset MFA for an account

Remove the MFA app associated with an Ideas account.

Reset the multifactor authentication (MFA) app for a user to force the user to setup a new authenticator app, or reisetup their existing app.
  1. Go to Admin Setup > User Management > Manage Users.

  2. Find the user account.
  3. For the selected user, click Edit > Reset MFA.

The next time the user signs in, they will need to resync their authenication app per the instructions in Sign in with a password.
