Release highlights
Users will now see a warning message when attempting to archive a survey that is currently scheduled or active.
In this scenario, the user will see a warning message and will have the opportunity to proceed with archiving the survey or leave it active.
Scheduled or active surveys that are archived will have the following impacts:
Customers attempting to view the survey will see a message indicating that the survey is no longer available.
Interaction details will show a status of "Denied".
We have updated the list of time zones available to select when scheduling surveys.
This update will remove deprecated time zones and add newer time zones to the available options.
We have updated the functionality of Number type questions when custom HTML templates are applied.
Custom HTML templates are often used to replace numbers with stars or emojis in Number type questions.
The following updates will now apply to Number questions when custom templates are used:
The Max Response field will have a limit of
5, since this is the standard scale for star-based responses.A default response will be logged if the customer does not answer the question. This was already in place when Number questions were used without custom templates, but it was not previously applied when custom templates were used.
We continue to make security enhancements throughout the application.
These updates will continue to maintain compliance with modern security standards.
Accessibility updates
To improve accessibility in line with WCAG 2.1 standards, we have enhanced the following components:
Text descriptions for Yes/No buttons
Indication of the Selected/Unselected state of radio buttons
Clearly labeled page titles for web surveys
Appropriate hierarchy and ordering of text headers on the survey page
Addition of "landmarks" to provide a navigable layout for screen readers
Improved zooming and scaling ability on the survey page
Resolved issues
An issue preventing emails from being sent for scheduled reports has been resolved.
Previously, when a user scheduled a report, the expected email would not be sent when the report became available for download. We have identified and addressed the underlying cause to ensure that emails will be sent.
An issue causing slow loading of the Configure Genesys Cloud page in a specific scenario has been resolved.
Previously, clicking the Configure Genesys Cloud button on the Integrations tab of the Customer Settings page could result in long load times before users were able to configure the integration settings. This occurred when there was a large number of survey mappings configured.
We have addressed the underlying cause to ensure that the page loads more quickly regardless of the number of survey mappings.
An issue causing a reviewed interaction on the Dashboard to remain visible has been resolved.
Previously, when reviewing interactions in the Top X Best/Worst Interactions table on the Dashboard, users would need to repeat the review workflow twice to remove the interaction from the list. Now, a single review will remove the interaction, as expected.
An issue causing unexpected audio files to be played in voice surveys in a specific scenario has been resolved.
When the respondent_language attribute is not defined on a voice survey request, the survey should use the language specified in the Language field on the Survey page, but it was using the Default Interaction Language from the General Settings tab of the Customer Settings page instead.
With this update, the survey will use the survey setting in this scenario.
