Data safety form in Google Play Console
Google Play Store requires Apps to describe their data privacy and security practices. This information is available in the App’s Play Store listing to educate users about how the App collects and shares their data.
This topic provides information on how Sense360 by Medallia handles user data, which helps App developers better respond to Google Play’s data safety form. However, App developers are solely responsible of correctly answering Google Play’s data safety form; this document is for reference only.
Sense360 data collection and safety
This section addresses Google Play questions regarding App Content and Data Safety.
This is collected when an App developer has not informed the Sense360 Android SDK that the user has opted out of collection. The Sense360 Android SDK provides an API to opt out of collection. It is incumbent on the developer to adhere to a user’s wishes. For more information, see Demographic data and user opt-out.
Precise / Approximate location
Sense360 by Medallia collects, stores, and sends precise and approximate location data to Medallia servers in a secure, safe, and non ephemeral way. Medallia, Inc. does not share this location data with third parties.
This data may be stored and analyzed in an anonymized form temporarily for improving Sense360 services, and for providing App functionality, before it is automatically deleted.
