Adobe Experience Platform

The Adobe Experience Platform data stream provides a turnkey solution for integrating DXA data into Adobe Experience Platform. This allows DXA data to be utilized in Adobe Experience Platform and application services, such as Customer Journey Analytics.

The Adobe Experience Platform data stream uses the Experience Data Model (XDM) to standardize DXA session and pageview data schemas and automatically pushes the data to Adobe Experience Platform every night.

Use cases

  • Unlock the full potential of DXA data analysis and DXS with Customer Journey Analytics in Adobe Experience Platform.

  • Associate DXA digital experience signals with your existing customer profiles.

  • Apply DXA digital experience signals when setting up Offer Decisioning in Adobe Experience Platform.

  • Combine DXA digital experience signals with Journey Orchestration in Adobe Experience Platform.

Prerequisites

  • An Adobe Experience Platform instance

  • Adobe I/O authentication enabled on your DXA account
Note: To enable Adobe I/O authentication in DXA, see Adobe JWT Authentication.
  • Anonymous data capturing set up in DXA
Note: For more information, see Passing User IDs.

Enabling the Adobe Experience Platform data stream

  7. Click Save.

The Adobe Experience Platform data stream is enabled. Adobe Experience Platform will standardize DXA analytics data in an XDM schema and send the data to Adobe Experience Platform every night.
Note: You must wait up to 24 hours for the schema to be created and for DXA data to populate in Adobe Experience Platform.

Configuring the identity namespace in Adobe Experience Platform

To use application services with DXA, you must first configure the identity namespace in each session and pageview schema.
Note: For more information, see Identity namespace overview in Adobe Experience League.
To configure the identity namespace in Adobe Experience Platform:
  1. Go to DATA MANAGEMENT > Schemas.

The DXA schemas appear on your Adobe Experience Platform schema list.
Note: If your Decibel schemas don't appear on the list within 24 hours of enabling the Adobe Experience Platform data connector, contact DXA Support.
