SiteMinder Authentication
SiteMinder authentication provides an additional layer of security for data on a DXA account.
Enabling SiteMinder authentication on a DXA account

On the navigation bar, go to
settings > Account Settings > Security and click Site Minder.

In the Site Minder area, select Site Minder Integration Enabled.

Provide the following connection details:

Site Minder Host
-
(Optional) Site Minder Port
-
Site Minder API ID
-
Site Minder Resource
-
-
Click Save.
SiteMinder authentication is now enabled on the account.
Adding SiteMinder authentication to DXA users

Add a role with a group name matching the relevant group name in the SiteMinder account.

When adding or editing a user, in the Authentication Provider dropdown menu, select Site Minder.
The Siteminder User text box appears.

In the Siteminder User text box, enter the user's SiteMinder username.

Click Save User.
