Creating surveys

Digital has two types of surveys — strategic and ad-hoc surveys. Strategic surveys are intentionally designed to track trends and provide an incorporated view of a customer's online and offline experience in Experience Cloud. Ad-hoc surveys allow for continuous optimization and real-time testing for selective targeting feedback purposes. These surveys provide data that can be exported but do not have dedicated reporting visualizations in Experience Cloud. Both types of surveys are configured in Digital.

To streamline integration with the Medallia platform, complete a set of pre-work configuration instructions in Digital before starting the implementation. An introductory meeting between your team and a Medallia expert is recommended to walk through specifications and the pre-work steps.

Note: The surveys that are preconfigured in Digital include 'test' as part of the naming convention. Do not remove 'test' from survey names until those surveys are ready to go live.
