Freeze mode

Freeze mode is a Digital Feedback Command Center state that occurs when a configuration that requires change to the client-facing code has been made, for example the introduction of a new question type. Freeze mode is required because of the dynamic nature of experience programs; changes take effect immediately and require that compatible packages are deployed on your website to support new features.

Tip:

Feedback is still collected when Freeze mode is enabled.

A Digital poperty enters Freeze Mode after a package that contains new code has been downloaded. When freeze mode is enabled, you cannot make changes to your experience program until the new Digital package has been uploaded to your website and a Digital administrator has confirmed the package deployment on the Packages screen.
