Announcements

  • As communicated previously, we are officially deprecating the functionality of legacy interfaces and APIs for Digital Feedback customers who are using the Experience Cloud V2 Integration.

  • As communicated previously, Digital survey form 1.0 will be officially sunset during 2025. Global enablement of Survey Form 2.0 is scheduled during the spring 2025 release, currently planned to start during the last week of April 2025.

Important: Customers who have not upgraded by this time will be upgraded automatically. Self-service upgrade is available to all Digital administrators. We recommend starting the upgrade as soon as possible.
  • Digital Health Watch begins roll out during this release to all customers, with the exception of GovCloud that is currently planned for 2025. Note that if your Experience Cloud instance contains custom reports for the Digital Channel a filtering update is required. For more information please reach out to your Medallia partner.

  • The new Digital Command Center experience is being gradually enabled automatically throughout the following months.

General

  • As an accessibility and usability improvement, it is now possible to set an autocomplete value for Text input fields directly from the Digital Command Center, leveraging the browser's autocomplete capability. For example, if the browser supports an default address field, use this for autocomplete. Additionally, "Email" fields are set with the email autocomplete attribute.

Note: There is a known issue with the autocomplete attribute in FireFox browsers that is beyond Medallia's scope.
  • In order to improve survey accessibility, a default text component with the text "Fields marked with * are required" is included in all new surveys. This component can be modified, translated or removed.

  • Properties using self-service reusable fields are now able to remap existing components to a different Experience Cloud field without the need to delete and re-add it. This functionality is available from the "Field Mapping" modal.

Important: This feature is available upon request. Ask your Medallia expert to file a Feature activation request with Medallia Support.
  • Accounts enabled with the new Command Center can now define custom parameters to be created as an e-field using self-service.

  • The Medallia integration stability in cases where the automatically generated dashboard is deleted from Medallia has been improved.

  • Properties enabled with the new Digital Admin experience have a revamped "User Behavior Triggers" screen.

  • The mdLogger cookie is not included by default and is only initialized when the KAMPYLE_ONSITE_SDK.startLogger(); command executes.

Similarly, mdLogger can be removed by calling the KAMPYLE_ONSITE_SDK.stopLogger(); command.

Note that existing cookies cannot be actively removed, but they do naturally expire or when the user clears the browser cache. Similarly, mdLogger can be removed by calling KAMPYLE_ONSITE_SDK.stopLogger();.

In order to enable this fix a configuration refresh is required. This can be done by saving a published form, unpublishing and publishing a form or by using the "Refresh Configuration" admin option.

  • We have further improved support of the browser page-zoom function.
