Medallia for Salesforce 1.27 release notes

Released starting 1 June 2020

Medallia recommends that Customers upgrade to this release of Medallia for Salesforce to take advantage of enhancements and bug resolutions.

Customers with versions prior to 1.27 may log a Support case or contact their Medallia Services partner to obtain an upgrade URL or request a push upgrade.

Release highlights

  • Invitation payload has been increased from 7,500 characters max to 131,000 characters.

  • Select properties (e.g., name, default filter, etc.) on Medallia Lightning components can now be configured using Lightning App Builder — compatible with Lightning Experience only.

  • Duplicate invitation check on a Feedback Program record can now be disabled, allowing you to send multiple invitations to the same contact for a given program.

  • Support for Oauth Client Secret with special characters.

  • Medallia Lightning components now have a Medallia logo to more quickly distinguish them from other components in a Salesforce org.

  • Added a new field — Survey Program — to the Response object, allowing the program name to be passed from Medallia to Salesforce as part of Response sync Improved error handling when deleting an invitation record.

  • Improved error handling for the QueueItem worker.

Important: If you're using Medallia Lightning components on the Account page, you must complete the following steps after upgrading to version 1.27:

  1. Edit the Account page on which Medallia Lightning components are displayed.

  2. Edit page using Lightning App Builder.

  3. Edit the properties you'd like to modify or use the default configuration options.

  4. Save the page.
