Use the Program Backfill Rules screen as an alternative to manage the backfill rules of your Experience programs and schemas. Backfill rules determine the conditions under which an enterprise program and schemas are updated when you run a backfill process.
Important: Medallia Experience Cloud creates a mapping ID every time you update a schema. When creating Program Backfill rules on this screen, you may select an outdated schema in the Program Record Schema property. To avoid this, create Program backfill rules directly as part of the Experience program. For more information, see Customer Profiles.
Important: This feature is available upon request. Ask your Medallia expert to file a Feature activation request with Medallia Support.
Properties
- Migration name
- The name of the backfill rule.
- Priority
- Determines the order of the backfill rule in relation to other backfill rules, with lower numbers listed higher in the list than greater numbers.
- Active
- When selected, the backfill rule is active, and the Survey Condition is considered when running a backfill process.
- Survey Condition
- If active, it determines whether the Program record schema is updated when running a backfill process.
- Program Record Schema
- The mapping schema for the Experience program, mapping record Data fields to Profile fields.
