Using Functions in Eligibility Rules
You can use functions as building blocks for creating and defining new data items and Eligibility Rules.
This section provides information about the functions available in MXO , along with examples of how to use them to create Eligibility Rules using the Eligibility Rules Editor. It also contains a number of use cases showing how you can combine simple Eligibility Rules to create more complicated Eligibility Rules you can use to determine whether or not customers are eligible to be shown an optimization.
Individual functions may require either string variables or numeric variables. The Eligibility Rules Editor only allows you to select the variables applicable to the type of function you are using. For example, the contains function only accepts string variables. Some functions accept both string and numeric variables. Variables that are not applicable are greyed out and cannot be selected.
