Viewpoints

Viewpoints ensure the correct content is displayed for touchpoints on different channels or for different optimization points; letting you reuse existing actions, rather than having to create new ones.

For example, to reuse an action across multiple touchpoints, you can have three different assets to display for that action: a large graphic for your website, a smaller graphic for your mobile site, and an agent script for your call center, each associated with a different viewpoint. This ensures the correct asset is displayed on each of your touchpoints. To reuse an action across different optimization points, you can provide one asset for the hero banner, another for the mini feed, and a third for the main page.

The Viewpoints page provides you with a list of all available viewpoints. You can view the following details for each viewpoint:

  • Viewpoint name.

  • Viewpoint status — is the viewpoint published or unpublished, or has it been modified?

  • Date when the viewpoint was last modified.

  • Name of the last person to modify the viewpoint.

From this page, you can also create new viewpoints and perform actions on a specific viewpoint such as editing or deleting it, or viewing its dependencies.
